Panasonic Malaysia won 7 categories in Gfk Award 2005
Panasonic Malaysia once again shows its superiority by winning 7 product categories among 55 others in the Gfk Asia No.1 Award. The award officially recognizes the top volume selling brands across the consumer electronics, home appliances, imaging, IT and telecommunication product categories in each country based on brand performance in 2005.
Gfk awarded the No. 1 certificate which provides a formal recognition of the top selling brands to one manufacturer per product group in each country.
The awards were presented by Jennifer Chan, General Manager of Gfk Asia to Mr H Nakamura at Panasonic Head Office in Petaling Jaya on the May 10, 2006. Also present during the presentation were Chan Lock, Ng Hong Ping and Azizah Wahid.
The 7 categories were Washing Machine, Refrigerator, Microwave Oven, Iron, Vacuum Cleaner, Blender and Air-Conditioner.
Recently Panasonic Malaysia was also awarded Reader’s Digest Asia Trusted Brands awards for 6 products categories.
