Asia Pacific International Honesty Enterprise Keris Award 2006

Panasonic Malaysia is proud to be presented the Honesty Enterprise – Keris Award 2006 during the 5th Asia Pacific International Honesty Enterprise Keris Award 2006 at Renaissance Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 17 January 2007.

This ceremony was organised by Entrepreneur Development Association Malaysia jointly with Yantai Investment Development Board of Shandong of P. R. China, Penglai Municipal Government of Shadong of P. R. China and Fushun Municipal Government of Liaoning of P. R. China.

Azizah Wahid, Manager of Corporate Communications and Branding received the award on behalf of Panasonic Malaysia from YB Dato’ Hon Choon Kim, Deputy Minister of Education Malaysia.

This award is an annual International Business Award which started from year 2002 for outstanding companies in the Asia Pacific region with healthy financial reports and Board of Directors having clean records.

In this commercialized society where deceits and frauds have tremendously impeded the comprehensive development of the entire industry, honesty of an enterprise has become increasingly important. Honesty represents the operating and managing style of an enterprise, reputation as well as public image in the market.

This honesty award was evaluated on company’s vision and mission, innovation and strategies, human resource management, operation efficiency and products. The company also should not have been involved in any business legal suit or have any regulatory problems with the relevant authorities in the past 2 years.

A total of 41 companies received this honesty award during the award ceremony.
